19th Golden Melody Awards 2008

日本テレビ系ドラマ「ごくせん」で人気のＨｅｙ！Ｓａｙ！ＪＵＭＰ・高木雄也（１８）とＢ．Ａ．Ｄ．の中間淳太（２０）、桐山照史（１８）の通称「ごくせんトリオ」が、７月５日に台湾・台北アリーナで行われる「第１９回　金曲奨」に招待されたことが４日、分かった。
　「金曲奨」は台湾政府主催の「台湾のグラミー賞」と呼ばれる中華圏最大規模の音楽祭で、過去にジャニーズからはテゴマスら４組が参加している。台湾では「ごくせん」の前２作が放送され高い人気を博した。現在の第３シリーズは、まだ台湾で放送されていないが、現地での３人の注目度はすでに絶大で、海を越えて白羽の矢が立った。
　実は、中間淳太は日台クオーターで小４から中３まで台湾に居住した。昨年のＮＥＷＳ台湾公演にバックダンサーとして参加した際は、中国語であいさつし会場を沸かせた。中間は「また台湾に行けてうれしい。３人のチームワークの強さを見せたい。通っていた学校や住んでいた家にも行ってみたい」とがい旋に大喜び。当日はプレゼンターを務めるほか、ドラマの挿入歌「俺たちの青春」など数曲を披露予定。また音楽祭の模様はアジア、北米、ロシアなど５８の国と地域で放送される。

It was announced yesterday that Gokusen 3 stars Takaki Yuya, Nakama Junta and Kiriyama Akito were invited as guest presenters at the 19th Golden Melody Awards to be held at Taipei Arena on July 5th. The government sponsored music festival, often referred to as the “Taiwanese Grammies”, is the biggest of its kind in the Chinese speaking world and has seen other Johnny’s stars such as Tegomass and Matsumoto Jun as guest presenters in the past.

The first two seasons of Gokusen were extremely popular in Taiwan, and although season 3 hasn’t aired in Taiwan yet it has already created a lot of attention. Nakama Junta used to live in Taiwan for a number of years, and he backdanced and greeted the audience in Chinese at NEWS’s Taipei concerts.

At the Golden Melody Awards Takaki, Nakama and Kiriyama will also perform several songs, including the Gokusen 3 insert song Oretachi no Seishun. The event will be broadcast to 58 countries.
